Selecting directly from the Product Table is the fastest way to export the current Product data. There are a couple of methods to export data from Products that also allow you to present the information in a vendor friendly format.
Export Product(s):
1. Check the box(es) next to the desired product(s) and select "Add to Export" in the bottom notification bar.
2. Once all desired products are selected, in the top right, Click on "Export (x)."
(The number within the parenthesis is the number of products selected for export).
3. A menu will pop up allowing the option to select Channel Templates for the export, as well as the the ability to include Product images in the export.
a. If you select no Channel Templates, the export will contain csv downloads with all selected Products separated by Product Type.
b. If you select a single or multiple Channels, in addition to a, the download will also contain separate csv files for each Channel Template.
NB. Products selected for Export must also be added to a Channel/Channel Template in order to be exported in that Channel.
c. Selecting "Include Images?" will add images as specified in the pop-up, below.
To select all products for export, navigate to the All Category in the lefthand menu and select the checkbox in the header area of the All Products area, to the left of Name. You can also select all products within a Category with this method. Proceed with steps 2-4 above.
4. Retrieving your export is as simple as going to the Image Relay email sent to you once the export is complete. Clicking the link for the export file allows you to immediately download a Zip file containing the Products folder. Exporting channel templates will have a Channels folder included in your export.
The 'Products' folder will contain general attribute data of the exported products in CSV files separated by Product Type.
The 'Channels' folder contains CSVs of select attribute data assigned to a Channel Template. Note how the attribute data from one channel differs from another below:
