Set or clear an Expiration Date on a file - this is an admin duty
Setting an expiration date on files that have rights or branding restrictions is a great way to protect them from mis-use. If a file expires it will no longer be able to be downloaded. You might also expire a file as a creative control - if it has been overused for instance.
Go to the Details view of the file for which you wish to set an expiration date.
Click on the Expiration Date field to update. A calendar will pop up to set the new expiration date.
The date setter will get a future email alert when the file expires.
To remove an expiration date altogether simply click Clear, and the expiration date will be removed.
A user can request use of the asset by clicking the Request Use icon in the upper bar.
