Instead of having multiple versions of the same files in different formats (jpeg, png, pdf, psd), you can nest all of the different formats together. It is most commonly used when working with logos. Nesting files together avoids visual clutter in your library.

There are two ways to nest files within your folder, and they function somewhat differently.

Thumbnail View

Using this method, you will use assets that you have already uploaded to your library.

1. Choose the assets that you would like to nest. You can nest up to 15 files.

2. The black bar will drop down from the top; choose More and then Nest Files.

3. Choose the primary file. This is the file that will show the main preview, so it is best to pick something that previews well like a JPEG or PNG. AI and ZIP files do not preview.

4. When you hit Done, the assets will Nest. In the library, the thumbnail will indicate that there are nested files. The nested files will show in the "attached file area" and you will have the option to download them when you hit Download or remove the attached file.

Detail View

In this option, the files that you attach will not have been uploaded to your Image Relay library. You will be adding them from your Desktop.

1. Locate the file you wish to add additional files and go to the Details view. 

2. Click the Ellipse in the left corner, then Add Attached File. You can also add files under Versions on the right-hand side.

3. Choose the file from your desktop.

4. When you hit Attach File, the assets will Nest. In the library, the thumbnail will indicate that there are nested files. The nested files will show in the "attached file area" and you will have the option to download them when you hit Download.
