This Admin task regarding Metadata Templates may not be available with all plans. Please contact support@imagerelay.com with questions.

There are some instances where you may need to switch the metadata template for an asset or a set of assets in your Image Relay library. For example, the wrong template may have been applied upon upload, or perhaps you have created a new template that you would like to use going forward. This is an easy task to do on an individual file or in bulk. 

Please Note: Updating the Metadata Template of a file will wipe out any previously added metadata that has been added in the metadata fields. 

Via Hover View:

1. Hover your mouse over the file you wish to update.

2. Click the ellipses (...) to bring up the Admin menu.

3. Click Update Metadata Template.

4. Select the asset profile you want from the drop down menu.

5. Click Update.

Via Selection:

1. Select the files you wish to change. This can be one or many. 

2. Click More ellipse (...).

3. Click Change Metadata Template.

4. Select the asset profile you want from the drop down menu.

5. Click Update.
