Understanding stage roles is essential to ensuring that the right team members are able to view, comment, and decide on the proof they have been assigned to.
This can be managed when adding a guest user to the stage, as exemplified below:
Asset Permissions
View: When all boxes are unchecked for an invited guest user, the user is only able to view the proof and the comments for the proof in the proof viewer link. They do not have access to the viewer tools that would typically allow them to comment or markup a proof.
A user can also use the proof URL link from the proof details if it is shared with them for viewing access without having to be added as a stage member first.
Comment: The user can markup and comment on a proof. They are also able to delete their own markups and comments until the proof is locked.
Decision: The user can submit or revoke their decision on a proof.
Manage: Only Proof Users are able to manage a proof. These users can also add and delete proof versions, lock and unlock the proof, delete other users' comments and edit proof settings. This permission level can also see all comments added to an asset including private comments.
