Only Proof Users have the ability to create a proof. They can access the Proofing tool by navigating to Tools> Digital Proofing. Guest Users can only access a proof through the proof email notification sent to them upon invitation to a proof's stage.
Accounts have a limited number of Proof User seats. To add additional seats, contact sales@imagerelay.com to discuss updating your plan.

Creating a New Proof
Once inside the Proofing View, select the New Proof button in the top right corner.
In the next pop up window, you will be able to name your proof and assign a proof template to the proof if desired. A proof template will have prefilled stages ready with people already assigned to each stage.
A proof created with a template can be edited if necessary as well.
Uploading an Asset to the Proof
After selecting the button to progress to the next step, you will automatically be directed to select one or more assets from the library for the proof. You will be able to pick from all folders you have access to view.
Once all desired assets are selected, click Done in the righthand top corner.
Creating Stages and Assigning Roles
After selecting your assets, the proof details and stages settings will appear. You can make changes in the Proof Name text field, the Stage Names and invited Guest Users email fields.
Adding Stages
Multiple teams or departments may need to be included in the process. To create a stage for each review team, click the Add New Stage button in the bottom right of the Proof Settings.
If a Proof Template has been assigned to this proof, the stages and their members will be prefilled, but can be edited if needed.
If a deadline has been assigned to the stage, members will be notified of the deadline.
Adding Members to a Stage
You can add additional Stage members by clicking Add New Member at the bottom right of each stage. Once their email is added, you can assign their roles for the stage. To learn more about stage roles that a member can be assigned, click here.
Finalizing Proof Creation
Clicking Create Proof when finished will return you to the Active Proof Table view, with a notification that the proof is processing and will be available shortly.
Please note that a Proof Owner must be present in at least one stage in order for the Proof to be created. When using a Proof Template, ensure that the Proof Owner listed is also included in the new proof.
