Template categories enable Marketing Template administrators to organize templates by purpose, content, platform or other categories that best align with their goals.
This article will cover how to create template categories and how to assign templates to a category.
Creating a Category
Categories can be created under the Templates tab in the Marketing Template lefthand menu.
Click Add Category
After selection, a popup will appear allowing an admin to name the Template Category and assign it to the appropriate users to view and edit as projects.
Categories and the templates assigned within are visible to users who are given access to the category only.
Assign Templates to a Category
Templates can be assigned to a category once they are published. To assign templates to a Category, hover the mouse over an existing template and click the asterisk (...) to show a dropdown menu, and select Edit Category.
A popup will appear allowing you to assign the template to a category, change the category for one with an existing assignment, or to create and name a new category with the template added to it.
