Marketing Templates are an effective way to standardize and maintain the integrity of branding elements while allowing users to customize the template into a project of their own.
In this article, we will define essential terms and areas of Marketing Templates within Image Relay.
Categories: Similar to Categories in Products and Folders in the Library, Categories organize templates into project types or other preferred labels. Admins have the ability to assign categories to specific permission levels.
Configuration Mode: The mode during the template creation process where an admin sets parameters for individual elements within a template.
Design Mode: The mode or setting where an Admin is able to completely design a template
Lock: A setting within configuration mode where elements can be locked or prevented from being edited further
Marketing Template Guest User: Users with access to make a copy of and edit existing templates within the parameters assigned to the template.
Marketing Template Admin: Users with the ability to create and edit new templates.
Projects: A user’s editable copy of templates to edit and work on.
Template: A base project template with editable elements that a user can choose to copy and make into a project.
User Preview Mode: The ability during the template creation or project editing process to preview the document as an end user would see it and interact with it. Editing is further limited in User Preview Mode.
