Now that your trial account has been enabled, follow these guidelines to set up your Image Relay library for success.
Step 1: Brand Your Library
Customize your login page with your logo and background to make it feel like home. To customize, navigate to Admin > Account Settings > Customize Portal > Portal Logo & Background

Step 2: Create a New Folder
Use the sample folders or create your own folder structure. Read Here to get inspiration on the best way to organize folders.
To create a new folder, click the New Folder button shown here. If you want to add a new subfolder, navigate to the parent folder, then click the New Folder icon at the top of the library. You can also organize and create new folders by right clicking on the left hand side folder menu.
Step 3: Customize Metadata Tools
Ensuring your library is easily searchable is one of the most important things you can do. One way to enhance search results is by adding tags and metadata fields to your assets.
- Tags, in addition to folders, add another layer of organization to your Library. They are fully customizable and can be added to any type of asset.
- To create tags, navigate to Admin > Metadata Tools > Tag Sets > Create New
- Metadata Templates allow you to customize the metadata fields associated to any asset. Your Trial will already have a 'Default' template which includes fields for Title, Description, and Usage/Restrictions. You can create multiple templates with different fields depending on the type of assets. For example, for your product images you may want to include fields like SKU and Product Line, but for your event images you may want to include fields like Photographer and Location.
- To create a new metadata template, navigate to Admin > Metadata Tools > Templates > Create New
When using the Search functionality, results will also include any tag or metadata values that match your search keywords. You can also refine searches by limiting results to certain tags or templates.

Step 4: Upload Your Assets
Now that you have tags and metadata fields created, it's time to start importing your assets! You can upload images, videos, documents, audio files, and more! First select which folder you want to upload into, then click Upload.
You can also bulk apply tags or enter metadata values while uploading, shown here:
Step 5: Share Your Content
Select a single file, group of files, or entire folders to share internally or externally. Sharing can be done via a Share Link, Email, Embedded, or Social Apps. To protect your brand, you can also customize download options, require recipient information, or set expiration dates.
