Syncing files is an efficient way to organize files without having to work with or create duplicates. Additionally, updates to the file in any area it is located will also update all other locations.
However, you can also remove a synced file from a folder through the following method:
1. Select the synced file in any one of its locations (a black menu will appear at the top of the screen with an asterisk), or hover over the file and click the asterisk (...) symbol and select Remove
2. A menu will pop up that will allow you to select to remove the file from the folders it currently exists in. Select the desired folders you want the file removed from and select Remove
Moving a synced file will un-sync the file from its other locations and move it to the destination folder.
Deleting a folder from the library with a synced file will not delete all other synced versions of that file.
